Czech glass is recognized around the world. It is rightfully considered a treasure of our country, belonging to the top of the world glass making elite. The tradition of the Czech glass making goes back to the Gothic period. A similarly long tradition that has not been interrupted can be seen only in Venice, Italy. When you put your finger anywhere on the map, you will find a place where Czech glass was delivered in the last centuries.

In the last twenty years, several glass making companies have been privatized in the Czech Republic and this resulted in the closure of many important companies. Nevertheless, even this situation did not have any adverse impact on the character and quality of glass products. There are still glass making companies operated that went through their process of restoration and won again their global recognition due to their excellent quality and a new design concept.
