In addition, in cooperation with the company Sklo Valenta, Czech Republic, we operate a wholesale supply of glass blanks – with lead as well as without lead. Many Czech companies are our customers in this area.

In 2008, we also became co-owners of the glass-polishing works in Habry, Czech Republic. In its two production premises, a production operation ensures chemical polishing of glass for important Czech as well as foreign glass works.

Some facts from the history

MB Glass Technology s.r.o. was founded in 2004 on the grounds of the old glass making family company; nevertheless, its history goes back to 1985 when Milan Beneš, a current owner of MB Glass Technology, founded his first glass cutting works. In 1990, the company MB Glass was founded dealing with the production and improvement of glass including cutting, engraving, sand blasting, glazing, polishing, as well as the design and development of new glass making technologies. Transformation into a limited liability company named MB Glass Technology in 2004 was a logical result of the existing development.

The work of the company owner, Milan Beneš, is grounded on the experience of his ancestors, and at the same time, on the knowledge he acquired during his studies. He completed his training as a glass cutter in Světlá nad Sázavou and then completed additional studies in Kamenický Šenov in the Czech Republic at the oldest glass making school of this type in the world.

Foreign cooperation

In the course of its existence, the company has been cooperating with a number of leading Czech glass making companies and participated in a large number of glass making projects in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. It is worth mentioning the projects completed include cooperation with Waterford in Ireland, TITTO in Taiwan, Nouvel in Mexico, Bel Art in Tunisia, La Opala and CDGI v India.
